RoboCop

Robocop would not be included in a discussion about the 1980s best action films. Paul Verhoeven's Hollywood debut is not only a staple for 1980s action movies but it is also considered one of the best, most perceptive, and overt, satires. RoboCop, despite being dismissed as action-funny fodder in the 1980s is now more important than ever. It retains the same enjoyable action film aesthetic we all love. But what lies beneath it is blog where Paul Verhoeven’s entire body of work's miracles may be clearly seen. Sometimes I wish I could slap the younger me for not being aware of all the action. But RoboCop was instrumental in helping me accept the graphic violence that I saw. This may have been the key to my success in getting this far.
